30 year old Rohit suffered from pain in lower legs with severe muscle cramps since 6 months. He visited his family doctor. He was prescribed muscle relaxants and some vitamin supplementations. It felt better for a few days but the pains kept recurring. He was tired of taking conventional medicines as they caused acidity and so he resorted to homoeopathic treatment. After taking his detailed case history it was found that he was very stressed since a year regarding his wife’s erratic behavior. He was asked to check for his haemoglobin count and thyroid hormones. He was detected with abnormal thyroid hormone levels and low haemoglobin. He was prescribed homoeopathic medicines with tips on distressing and eating habits. Slowly and steadily his conditions improved and he was asked to repeat the thyroid hormone test after 3 months of treatment which showed normal.

Hypothyroid

Muscle aches and pains, unexplained weight gain, constipation, sluggishness, fatigue; Lack of Energy, Dry skin, Depression, Increased sensitivity to cold, Impaired memory, Hair thinning/ Hair loss, and slower heart rate are common signs and symptoms seen in a hypothyroid patient.

Hypothyroid occurs when the thyroid gland fails to produce enough thyroid hormones. Stress is known to cause Hypothyroid. A routine blood test for thyroid hormones would confirm the diagnosis.

Homoeopathy for Hypothyroid…

Homoeopathy helps to produce thyroid hormone naturally by stimulating the immune system and helps in better functioning of the thyroid gland.

Homoeopathic remedies work by stimulating the body’s own healing capacity by encouraging the body to reactivate hormone secretions.

Homeopathy is free from any side-effects.

Stress causes hormonal disturbances in the body like thyroid problems which is very effectively treated with homeopathy.

Homoeopathy is a mind-body medicine. Homoeopathy treats not only the physical complaints, but also targets the mind and gently restores mind-body equilibrium- thus it treats the patient as a whole. A complete recovery is possible in most cases with homoeopathy.
