No balding in my genes, but stress made it possible
I am currently 28years old. I have no idea when my hair started to get thinner. I have no family history of balding on either my paternal or maternal side. I was considering a hair transplant as according to me my hair looked really awful with the receding hair line. Then, I visited my homoeopathic doctor for an opinion on the some. He conducted a computer test on my scalp and told me that I was in grade 3 of baldness which was not at present the stage in which I should be undergoing a hair-transplant. After detailed case study, he came to the conclusion that though there was no family history of hair loss in my family, I suffered from hair loss because I was having enormous stress regarding my work and family issues and did not catch up on enough sleep. He then prescribed me homoeopathic medicines and de-stressing techniques. Slowly and steadily my condition improved and there was no further receding or hair thinning.
50% of are happiness is determined by our genes, 10% by our life circumstances and 40% by our daily activities. Happiness adds a bright shiny look to our overall confidence and also behavior. Stress has just the opposite effect. Our day to day life too has its allocation of stress: marital, financial and work stress. If human would not have the power to return to the original state after suffering of illness or depression or any adversities of life then stress would have probably knocked us out or made us dead.
The effect of stress on hairloss has been known for a long time. While it is natural to lose about 50-100 strands of hair each day, there is no reason for us to worry when our hair seems thin or it falls more than usual or falls in clumps or small bald patches appear. When this happens you think of stress as a factor affecting your health and in turn your hair. Stress triggered hairloss is generally short-term or temporary. Once the stress factor is reduced, there is often re-growth, although the process can take up to six months or more, provided no stressor exists. Chronic stress can cause substantial damage to your hair sometimes leading to permanent baldness.
Homeopathy in Stress and Hairloss
Homeopathy is by far the safest form of medical treatment for hairloss. Homeopathy is a mind-body medicine. Homeopathy not only treats the physical complaints but also targets the mind and gently restores the body-mind equilibrium- thus it treats the patient as a whole. This makes Homeopathy an excellent solution for hair problems related to mind, such a stress related patchy loss of hair (alopecia areata), hairpulling disorder (trichotillomania) or stress induced massive hair shedding. Homeopathic medicines are free from side-effects. Not only do homeopathic remedies reduce hairloss but they also protect the body from harmful effects such as decreased libido or ejaculation problems that are common with conventional drugs. Stress causes hormonal disturbances in the body like thyroid problems/ PCOS which are also known to cause hairloss and are very effectively treated with homeopathy.
